FIND YOUR WAY

How do we lose our way, when there are a plethora of different directions to choose from. How do we stray from our true identity and lose focus from our main agenda. Distractions are everywhere we turn, television, advertisement, internet, different scenes we choose to put ourselves in. A fortune cookie I cracked open stated, "keep true to ones self, it will be difficult." It truly blew my mind, on how blind-sighted we become when distraction come across our way.

We try to abide by rules, such as our morals, followed by our intuitions, but yet we still further drift away from our journey to find our inner peace. Take a look at Bolt, yes people, the movie. He truly believed he was a character in a super hero flick. A complete 180 was made on his part to realizing he is just a plain average dog-- still super cute though.

We choose to put ourselves at risks when division on the paths we take start to split in different directions. Work overruns our life. Our main goal is to make more money to support the ones we love. Yet, we lose sight of the things that truly matter when we take overtime hours over family gatherings.

Money, Sex, and Fame rule the lives of the youth and even the adults. When you have the money you're wanted, we lose sight of where we come from. Who were we didn't have all the glitz and glamour. Just your plain average Joe. That's who we will be when its all over. Just yourself- bare skin and all.

So take a moment, have you lost sight of who you are? Has it all come down to money, sex, and fame. Is life just a Monopoly game board-- whoever has the most wins? Take away all of the things that you take for granted, would you still be happy with the life you are living at this very second? Cherish the things you already have.  You never know when you really need, it won't be there.

WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING

As I sat on my bed as minutes passed and tv shows moved forward. I came across an epiphany, Why am I just wasting my day lounging. True, I'm Tired, Hungover, Sick? maybe. But the thing is there is such an abundance of adventures just waiting for us to take. Why do I choose to waste days after days just watching tv. Yes, its nice and relaxing but, what more can I do thats truely fulfilling?

Look around, the weather is a nice and cool 63 degrees, nice and cloudy but still enough sun. Jump outta bed, get my gym bag ready, head to the gym and work out all this alcohol. That's the healthy part of my day. Hit the jacuzzi and sweat out all my alcohol in the sauna.

Drive down PCH, windows open, music blaring and hair blowing in the breeze. Stop and smell the roses, walk around the park. Something, anything  productive do it. Day off? hang with people you haven't seen in a long time. Invite someone to Lunch. Visit an old Family Member. Call someone you haven't talked too (not just a text, actual conversation.)

Grab life by the horns, make life something worth living for. Live life to the FULLEST. enjoy every single breath.

Love Yourself, Be Healthy, Love Everybody.
